RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
 

• Assist Principal Designer with all necessary and pertinent tasks

• Social media planning, photography (iPhone), editing, and post management

• Project management assistance & installation coordination

• Prepare proposal documents & purchase orders

• Draft floor plans, space plans, interior elevations, electrical plans & formatting in AutoCad

• Prepare schematic design presentations in Microsoft Power Point

• Prepare architectural finish, lighting, and paint schedules in Mircosoft Excel

• Conduct project site measures & documentation

• Source materials & furnishings

• Coordinate resource development and library management 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture a plus, but not required, must have relatable industry experience and strong interest in Interior Design.

• Proficient in AutoCad, Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail, & Adobe Creative Suite. Studio Designer/Webware or Google Sketch-Up experience a plus.

• Proficient with Instagram, Facebook, & Pinterest. Experience with Houzz a plus.

• Experience with the Chicago Merchandise Mart Design Showrooms a plus.

• Knowledge of fabric, wallcovering, and furnishing lines a plus.

• Strong conceptual abilities (individually and as part of a team)

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Possesses interpersonal, verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.

• Ability to problem solve and meet deadlines.

• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.

• Self-starter attitude.
